French Intensive Gardening #
For over 300 years—from the royal gardens at Versailles, to the market gardens of Paris—French gardeners developed and perfected a system to grow excellent fruit and vegetables year round, for some of the most discriminating palates in the world. This system is known as French Intensive Gardening.
In the late 19th century, this system was exported to England, and a number of Victorian writers documented these methods for posterity.
At intensively, we bring these methods to a 21st century audience, by republishing these writings in a modern web-based reading platform.
